Step 1: Prepare the Ribs

Preheat the oven to 160°C (325°F). Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for more tenderness. Pat the ribs dry with paper towels.

Season both sides with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Step 2: Slow Bake

Place the ribs on a baking tray lined with foil. Cover tightly with another layer of foil. Bake for 1.5–2 hours until the ribs are tender.

Step 3: Make the BBQ Glaze

While the ribs are baking, mix barbecue sauce, ketchup, honey, soy sauce, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and chili powder in a bowl.

Step 4: Glaze and Broil

Remove the foil from the ribs and brush generously with the BBQ glaze. Increase the oven temperature to 220°C (425°F) or switch to grill/broil mode. Cook for another 15–20 minutes, turning and basting once, until the sauce is sticky and caramelized.

Step 5: Rest and Serve

Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges if desired.
