Instructions

1. Prepare the chicken wings

2. Make the BBQ sauce
In a small bowl, combine BBQ sauce, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and chili sauce. Mix well and set aside.
3. Cook the chicken wings
-
Oven method:
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Place the wings on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway.
Brush generously with BBQ sauce during the last 10 minutes and return to the oven until sticky and caramelized. -
Pan or air-fryer option:
Cook wings until fully cooked and golden, then brush with BBQ sauce and cook a few more minutes until glazed.
4. Prepare the French fries
Peel the potatoes and cut into sticks. Soak in cold water for 20 minutes, then drain and pat dry.
Fry in hot oil at 170–180°C (340–355°F) until golden and crispy. Remove and season with salt.
5. Prepare the salad
In a large bowl, combine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, red onion, green bell pepper, and olives.
Drizzle with olive oil, add a squeeze of lemon juice, and season with salt and black pepper. Toss gently.
Serving
Arrange the BBQ chicken wings on a plate with crispy French fries and fresh salad on the side. Serve with extra lemon wedges and additional BBQ sauce if desired.
Tips
-
Double-fry the potatoes for extra crispiness.
-
Let the wings rest for a few minutes after cooking to keep them juicy.
-
Add fresh herbs like parsley for extra aroma and presentation.
