
Garlic Butter Pork Chops with Creamy Potato Casserole

Ingredients
For the Pork Chops

4 boneless pork chops

3 tablespoons butter
-
4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 teaspoon dried thyme
For the Creamy Potato Casserole
-
4 large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced

1/2 cup heavy cream
-
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
-
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Potato Casserole

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.

Arrange the sliced potatoes evenly in the dish. Season with salt and black pepper.

Pour the heavy cream over the potatoes, making sure they are well coated.

Sprinkle cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese evenly on top.

Cover with foil and bake for 35–40 minutes, until the potatoes are tender.

Remove the foil and bake uncovered for another 10–15 minutes, until the top is golden and bubbly.
2. Cook the Garlic Butter Pork Chops

Pat the pork chops dry and season both sides with salt, black pepper, and dried thyme.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the pork chops and cook for 4–5 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.

Lower the heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic to the same skillet.

Cook for about 1 minute, stirring constantly until fragrant.

Spoon the garlic butter sauce over the pork chops and return them to the pan briefly to coat.
Serve
Plate the pork chops and drizzle with extra garlic butter from the pan. Serve hot alongside the creamy potato casserole.
