200–250 g pork belly, thinly sliced (about 7–9 oz)

4–5 cloves garlic, minced

1–2 red chilies, sliced (optional)

1 tablespoon fish sauce (or soy sauce)

½ teaspoon sugar
-
½ teaspoon ground black pepper

1 tablespoon cooking oil

Optional: pinch of MSG
🔪 Preparation
1️⃣ Green Beans

Wash and trim both ends.

Remove any tough strings.

Cut diagonally into 4–5 cm pieces (about 2 inches).

Optional: Blanch in boiling water for 1 minute, then drain (helps keep bright green color).
2️⃣ Pork Belly

Rinse and pat dry.

Slice thinly for quick cooking.
3️⃣ Aromatics

Mince garlic.
-
Slice chilies.

Step 1: Cook the Pork

Heat oil in a wok or large pan over medium heat.

Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.

Add pork belly slices.

Stir-fry until the pork releases its fat and becomes lightly golden and slightly crispy on the edges.
👉 If there is too much fat, carefully remove some.
Step 2: Stir-Fry the Green Beans

Add green beans to the pan.

Stir-fry over high heat.

Season with:

Fish sauce (or soy sauce)

Sugar

Stir-fry for 3–5 minutes until beans are tender but still crisp.

Step 3: Finish

Add sliced chilies and black pepper.
