Orange Honey Crepes
1. Crepe Batter
Ingredients

125 g all-purpose flour (1 cup)
-
2 large eggs
-
300 ml milk (1¼ cups)
-
1 tbsp sugar
-
1 tsp vanilla extract
-
2 tbsp melted butter
-
1 pinch salt
Instructions
-
In a bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until slightly foamy.
-
Add milk and vanilla extract and mix well.
-
Gradually add flour and salt, whisking until smooth and lump-free.
-
Add melted butter and mix again.
-
Let the batter rest for 20–30 minutes (this makes softer crepes).
2. Cooking the Crepes
-
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
-
Lightly grease with butter.
-
Pour about ¼ cup batter into the pan.
-
Tilt the pan to spread the batter thinly.
-
Cook about 1 minute until edges lift.
-
Flip and cook the other side for 30 seconds.
-
Repeat for all crepes.
3. Orange Honey Sauce

Ingredients
-
120 ml fresh orange juice (½ cup)
-
2 tbsp honey
-
1 tbsp sugar
-
1 tbsp butter
-
1 tsp orange zest
Instructions
-
In a small saucepan combine:
-
orange juice
-
honey
-
sugar
-
-
Cook on medium heat for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
-
Add butter and orange zest, stir until glossy.
4. Assemble
-
Fold each crepe into triangles or rolls.
-
Place on a plate.
-
Pour warm orange honey sauce over the top.
5. Decoration (like the picture)
Add:
-
fresh orange pieces
-
mint leaves
-
extra honey drizzle
Optional toppings:
-
powdered sugar
-
whipped cream
-
vanilla ice cream
✅ Tips for perfect crepes
-
Batter should be very smooth and thin.
-
Letting the batter rest improves texture.
-
Use low–medium heat to prevent burning.
-
The first crepe is often imperfect — this is normal.
