2 large chicken breasts, sliced into cutlets
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
For the tomato basil sauce
2 tablespoons butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup crushed tomatoes
¾ cup heavy cream
½ cup chicken broth
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon paprika
¼ cup fresh basil, chopped
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
Step-by-step cooking
Step 1 – Prepare the chicken
Pat the chicken cutlets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
