300 g fettuccine or linguine
Salt for boiling water

For the shrimp

400 g shrimp, peeled and deveined
Salt
Black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil

For the Alfredo sauce

3 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
¾ cup grated parmesan cheese
½ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons chopped parsley


Step-by-step cooking

Step 1 – Cook the pasta
Boil salted water and cook the pasta until al dente. Reserve a small cup of pasta water before draining.


Step 2 – Season the shrimp
