🛒 Ingredients

For the Beef

  • 400g (14 oz) flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

  • 1 teaspoon oil

  • Black pepper to taste

For the Noodles

  • 250g spaghetti or Chinese egg noodles

Vegetables

  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced

  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced

  • ½ red onion, sliced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Sauce

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce

  • 1 teaspoon dark soy sauce (for color)

  • 1 teaspoon sugar

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • ¼ cup beef broth or water

  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch (to thicken)


👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Cook Noodles

Boil noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.


2️⃣ Marinate Beef

Mix beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, oil, and black pepper. Let sit 10–15 minutes.


3️⃣ Stir-Fry

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large pan or wok over high heat.

  2. Sear beef quickly (about 2–3 minutes). Remove and set aside.

  3. In same pan, sauté garlic and onions until fragrant.

  4. Add bell peppers and stir-fry 2 minutes (keep slightly crisp).


4️⃣ Combine

  1. Return beef to pan.

  2. Add cooked noodles.

  3. Pour in sauce mixture.

  4. Toss well until everything is coated and sauce thickens.
