  • 2 small round bread rolls (or 1 large bread bowl loaf)

  • 250g (½ lb) shrimp, peeled & deveined

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon flour

  • ¾ cup milk or light cream

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella

  • ¼ cup grated parmesan

  • Salt & black pepper to taste

  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

  • Optional: pinch chili flakes

1️⃣ Prepare Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Cut the top off bread and hollow out center (leave thick walls).

  3. Lightly toast bread bowls for 5–7 minutes to crisp slightly.


2️⃣ Cook Shrimp

  1. Melt butter in skillet over medium heat.

  2. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.

  3. Add shrimp, season with salt & pepper.

  4. Cook 2–3 minutes until pink. Remove and set aside.


3️⃣ Make Cheese Sauce

  1. In same pan, add flour and cook 1 minute.

  2. Slowly whisk in milk until smooth.

  3. Simmer until slightly thickened.

  4. Stir in mozzarella and parmesan until melted and creamy.


4️⃣ Assemble

  1. Pour cheese sauce into toasted bread bowls.

  2. Top with cooked shrimp.

  3. Sprinkle extra cheese if desired.

  4. Bake 8–10 minutes until bubbly and lightly golden.


5️⃣ Finish

Garnish with chopped parsley and chili flakes.
