Mandarin Orange Cream Tiramisu
Ingredients (6–8 servings)
Base Layer

200 g ladyfinger biscuits (savoiardi) or sponge cake slices
-
½ cup orange juice or mandarin syrup (for soaking)
Cream Filling
-
1 cup mascarpone cheese
-
1 cup heavy whipping cream
-
½ cup powdered sugar
-
1 tsp vanilla extract
Fruit Layer
-
2 cups mandarin orange segments (fresh or canned, drained)
Topping
-
Cocoa powder for dusting
-
Extra mandarin segments
-
Dark chocolate shavings
-
Fresh mint leaves
Instructions

1. Prepare the Cream
-
In a bowl beat heavy cream until soft peaks form.

In another bowl mix:

mascarpone
-
powdered sugar
-
vanilla extract.
-

Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until smooth.
2. Prepare the Base
-
Quickly dip ladyfinger biscuits into orange juice.
-
Arrange them in the bottom of a baking dish.
3. Layer the Dessert
-
Spread a layer of mascarpone cream over the biscuits.
-
Add a layer of mandarin orange segments.
-
Repeat the layers:
-
biscuits
-
cream
-
mandarins.
-
Finish with a cream layer on top.
4. Chill
Refrigerate for 3–4 hours (or overnight) so the layers set.
5. Decorate
Before serving:

Dust with cocoa powder
-
Add mandarin segments
-
Sprinkle dark chocolate pieces
-
Garnish with mint leaves
