Honey Garlic Glazed Pork Tenderloin

Ingredients

For the Pork

  • 1–1.2 lb (500 g) pork tenderloin

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp paprika

Honey Garlic Sauce

  • 3 tbsp honey

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar or lemon juice

  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)

  • 1 tsp cornstarch

  • 2 tbsp water

Garnish

  • Fresh parsley or cilantro

  • Sesame seeds

  • Chopped red chili

1. Prepare the Pork

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).

  2. Pat the pork tenderloin dry with paper towels.

  3. Rub with:

    • olive oil

    • salt

    • pepper

    • paprika.


2. Sear the Meat

  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. Sear the pork on all sides for 2–3 minutes each side until golden brown.


3. Make the Honey Garlic Sauce

In a bowl mix:

  • honey

  • soy sauce

  • garlic

  • brown sugar

  • vinegar

  • chili flakes

In another small bowl mix cornstarch + water, then add it to the sauce.


4. Roast the Pork

  1. Transfer the seared pork to a baking dish.

  2. Pour half of the sauce over the pork.

  3. Roast for 15–20 minutes until internal temperature reaches 63°C (145°F).


5. Glaze

  1. Heat the remaining sauce in a small pan until slightly thickened.

  2. Brush or drizzle over the sliced pork.


6. Serve

Slice the pork and garnish with:

  • parsley

  • sesame seeds

  • fresh chili.

Serve with:

  • roasted vegetables

  • mashed potatoes

  • steamed rice.


Tips

  • Let the pork rest 5–10 minutes before slicing so it stays juicy.

  • Add ginger to the sauce for an Asian-style flavor.

  • You can also cook it in an air fryer at 190°C for about 15 minutes.
