
Crispy Chili Beef & Shrimp Stir-Fry Noodles

Ingredients
Protein

200 g beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced

200 g shrimp, peeled and deveined
-
1 tablespoon cornstarch
-
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Noodles & Vegetables
-
250 g egg noodles or wheat noodles
-
1 red bell pepper, sliced
-
1 small onion, sliced
-
2 spring onions, chopped
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 teaspoon grated ginger
Sauce
-
2 tablespoons soy sauce
-
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
-
1 tablespoon chili sauce or chili paste
-
1 teaspoon sugar
-
1 teaspoon sesame oil
-
2 tablespoons water
For Frying
-
Vegetable oil, as needed
Optional Garnish
-
Chili flakes
-
Sesame seeds

Instructions
-
Prepare the Noodles
Cook noodles according to package instructions until just tender.
Drain, rinse briefly with cold water, and set aside. -
Season the Proteins
Toss beef with cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
Season shrimp lightly with salt and pepper. -
Crisp the Beef
Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
Fry beef in batches until crispy and browned.
Remove and set aside. -
Cook the Shrimp
In the same pan, add a little more oil if needed.
Stir-fry shrimp for 2–3 minutes until pink and just cooked.
Remove and set aside. -
Stir-Fry the Aromatics
Add garlic and ginger to the pan. Stir briefly until fragrant.
Add onion and bell pepper, cooking until slightly tender but still crisp. -
Combine Everything
Add cooked noodles to the pan.
Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, chili sauce, sugar, sesame oil, and water.
Toss well to coat noodles evenly. -
Finish the Dish
Return beef and shrimp to the pan.
Stir-fry for another 1–2 minutes until everything is heated through and glossy. -
Serve
Garnish with spring onions, chili flakes, or sesame seeds if desired.
Serve hot.
