Creamy Garlic Butter Salmon Bites

Yield

3–4 servings


Ingredients

Salmon

  • 500 g salmon fillet, skin removed, cut into bite-size cubes

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp butter

Creamy Garlic Sauce

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

  • 1/4 cup chicken broth (or white wine)

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • Salt & pepper to taste

Garnish

  • Chopped green onions

  • Black sesame seeds (optional)

  • Extra lemon wedges


Instructions

Step 1 – Season the Salmon

  1. Pat salmon dry with paper towels.

  2. Toss with salt, pepper and paprika.


Step 2 – Sear the Salmon Bites

  1. Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. Add salmon cubes in a single layer.

  3. Sear for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and just cooked.

  4. Remove from pan and set aside.


Step 3 – Make Garlic Cream Sauce

  1. In the same pan, melt 2 tbsp butter.

  2. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

  3. Pour in chicken broth (or wine) and simmer 1–2 minutes.

  4. Add heavy cream and cook until slightly thickened.

  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese and lemon juice.

  6. Season with salt and pepper.


Step 4 – Combine

  1. Return salmon to the pan.

  2. Gently toss to coat with the creamy garlic sauce.

  3. Simmer for 1–2 minutes (do not overcook).


Step 5 – Serve

Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with:

  • Green onions

  • Sesame seeds

  • Lemon wedges

Serve with rice, pasta, or crusty bread.


Tips

  • Do not overcook salmon; it should stay tender and juicy.

  • Add chili flakes for a spicy version.

  • Replace cream with half-and-half for lighter sauce.
