Ingredients

For the Chocolate Cake

For the Chocolate Ganache

  • 1 cup (170g) dark chocolate, chopped

  • ยฝ cup (120ml) heavy cream

  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter

For the Nut Crunch Base

  • ยฝ cup (60g) chopped almonds

  • ยผ cup (30g) hazelnuts, chopped

  • 1 tbsp honey

Garnish

  • Fresh blueberries

  • Red currants or cranberries

  • Chopped toasted nuts

  • Mint leaves

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).

  2. Grease four 4-inch mini cake pans.

  3. In a bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

  4. In another bowl, beat eggs and sugar until light.

  5. Add milk, oil, and vanilla.

  6. Fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients.

  7. Divide batter among pans.
