Healthy Cabbage Soup

Ingredients:

  • 1 large cabbage, chopped

  • 2 small onions, diced

  • 2 cans stewed tomatoes

  • 1 pouch Lipton Onion Soup Mix

  • 1 celery stalk, finely chopped

  • Ground beef (optional, choose your desired amount)

  • 4 cups low-sodium beef or vegetable broth

  • 2 carrots, sliced (optional, for extra sweetness)

  • 1 bell pepper, chopped (optional, for extra flavor)

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)

  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)

Instructions:

1️⃣ Sauté Aromatics:

  • In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.

  • Add onions, garlic, celery, and bell pepper (if using). Sauté until fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.

2️⃣ Add Veggies & Seasoning:

  • Stir in the cabbage, stewed tomatoes, carrots, and Lipton Onion Soup Mix.

  • Pour in the broth and add black pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.

3️⃣ Simmer to Perfection:

  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for 30–40 minutes, or until the cabbage is tender.

4️⃣ Taste & Serve:

  • Adjust seasoning as needed.
