For the glaze

2 tablespoons soy sauce

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon water
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Season the Salmon
Pat salmon dry and season lightly with salt and pepper.
2. Sear the Fish
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
Place salmon skin-side down.
Cook for 4–5 minutes until the skin is crisp.
Flip carefully and cook another 2–3 minutes.
Remove and set aside briefly.
3. Make the Glaze
In the same pan, lower heat to medium-low.
Add honey, soy sauce, garlic, lemon juice, and water.
Simmer gently for 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened.
Important:
Do not let the glaze darken too much — honey burns quickly.
4. Coat the Salmon
Return salmon to the pan.
Spoon glaze over the top for 30–60 seconds until coated and glossy.
5. Serve Immediately
Remove from heat and serve while warm.
