Grilled Pineapple Teriyaki Salmon 🐟🍍😋

Sweet, smoky, and slightly savory - this dish is a whole vibe. Juicy pineapple + rich teriyaki-glazed salmon = easy flex for dinner or weekend grilling.
2–3 salmon fillets (about 150–180g each)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
1 tsp grated ginger (optional but slaps)

6–8 fresh pineapple slices
Extra teriyaki sauce for brushing
Sesame seeds & chopped green onions (optional, for topping)
In a small bowl, mix teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, honey (or brown sugar), garlic, and ginger. Stir until smooth.
Lightly season salmon with salt and pepper. Brush generously with the teriyaki glaze. Let it chill for 10–15 minutes.
Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grates so nothing sticks.
Place pineapple slices on the grill first. Grill for about 2–3 minutes per side until caramelized and grill marks appear. Set aside.
Place salmon skin-side down. Grill for 4–5 minutes per side, brushing with extra glaze while cooking. Cook until flaky but still juicy.
Plate the salmon with grilled pineapple on top or on the side. Sprinkle sesame seeds and green onions if desired.

Serve with steamed rice, coconut rice, or a fresh green salad.
Extra glaze on top = main character energy
