
Creamy Lemon Garlic Chicken

Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 teaspoon paprika

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream
-
1/2 cup chicken broth
-
Zest of 1 lemon
-
Juice of 1 lemon
-
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
-
1 tablespoon butter
-
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Season the Chicken
Pat the chicken dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
2. Sear the Chicken
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add chicken and cook for 4–5 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
Remove chicken from the pan and set aside.
3. Make the Lemon Garlic Sauce
Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the same skillet.
Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the pan.
Add heavy cream, lemon zest, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese.
Simmer for 3–5 minutes, stirring until the sauce thickens.
4. Combine and Simmer
Return the chicken to the skillet. Spoon sauce over the chicken and simmer for 3–4 minutes until everything is well coated and heated
through.
5. Serve
Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
