Baked Salmon with Lemon Butter Sauce is a celebration of balance. 2 salmon fillets (about 150–180 g each)

2 cloves garlic, minced

Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Prepare the salmon
Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Place salmon fillets on the tray, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and black pepper.
2. Bake gently
Bake the salmon for 12–15 minutes, depending on thickness, until the flesh flakes easily with a fork. Remove from the oven and keep warm.
3. Make the lemon butter sauce
While the salmon bakes, melt butter in a small pan over low heat. Add minced garlic and cook gently for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
4. Add lemon
Stir in lemon juice and a pinch of zest if using. Let the sauce warm through without boiling.
5. Assemble and serve
