πππ Red Smoothie Recipe
Creamy, naturally sweet, and full of good fats and antioxidants — this smoothie blends banana, strawberry, avocado, and cashews into a dreamy, healthy drink.
1 ripe banana
Adds natural sweetness and creaminess.
4–5 fresh or frozen strawberries
Rich in vitamin C and antioxidants.
1/4 of a ripe avocado
Makes the smoothie ultra-creamy and provides healthy fats.
2 tablespoons raw cashews (soaked for 2–4 hours or overnight)
Soaking makes them easier to blend and digest.
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
Or substitute with oat, soy, or cashew milk.
1 teaspoon honey (optional)
Add only if more sweetness is needed.
A handful of ice cubes
For a refreshing, chilled texture.
Prep Ingredients:
If your cashews weren’t soaked ahead of time, you can do a quick soak: place them in hot water for 10–15 minutes, then drain.
If using fresh strawberries, remove stems and rinse.
Blend:
Add banana, strawberries, avocado, soaked cashews, almond milk, honey, and ice to a high-speed blender.
Blend until smooth and creamy, about 30–60 seconds.
Taste & Adjust:
Taste and adjust sweetness by adding a bit more honey if needed.
Add more almond milk to thin or more ice to thicken.
Serve:
Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately!
Chia seeds or flaxseeds for added fiber.
Vanilla extract (1/4 tsp) for flavor depth.
A scoop of protein powder to turn it into a meal smoothie.
