I. INGREDIENTS

  • 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks

  • Salt & black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • 250g (9 oz) fettuccine

  • Salt for boiling water


πŸ§„ Creamy Garlic Parmesan Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • ¾ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • ½ teaspoon chili flakes (optional)

  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley


II. COOKING METHOD

1️⃣ Cook the Pasta

  1. Boil salted water.

  2. Cook fettuccine until al dente.

  3. Reserve ½ cup pasta water.

  4. Drain and set aside.


2️⃣ Cook the Steak

  1. Pat steak dry.

  2. Season generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

  3. Heat skillet over high heat with olive oil.

  4. Sear 3–4 minutes per side (for medium-rare).

  5. Add butter and baste for extra flavor.

Internal temperature guide:
• 130–135°F (54–57°C) = medium-rare
• 140°F (60°C) = medium

Rest steak 5–7 minutes before slicing.


3️⃣ Make the Cream Sauce

  1. In a pan, melt butter over medium heat.

  2. Add garlic and sauté 30 seconds.

  3. Pour in heavy cream. Simmer 3–4 minutes.

  4. Add Parmesan and stir until smooth.

  5. Add pepper, chili flakes, and parsley.

  6. If too thick, add reserved pasta water.


4️⃣ Combine

Add pasta to sauce. Toss until coated and creamy.


5️⃣ Plate

  1. Spoon creamy pasta onto plate.

  2. Slice steak against the grain.

  3. Place steak beside pasta.

  4. Sprinkle extra Parmesan and parsley.
