Ingredients

For the Pork Chops:

  • 4 bone-in pork chops (about 1-inch thick)

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

For the Cheesy Potatoes:

  • 1½ pounds baby potatoes (halved)

  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley


Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Potatoes

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

  2. Add baby potatoes and cook for 12–15 minutes until fork-tender.

  3. Drain and set aside.

  4. In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat.

  5. Add potatoes cut-side down and cook until golden and crispy.

Step 2: Season the Pork

  1. Pat pork chops dry with paper towels.

Step 3: Sear the Pork Chops

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  3. Remove from skillet and set aside.


Step 4: Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce

  3. Pour in chicken broth and scrape up browned bits from the pan.

  4. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning.

  5. Simmer 3–5 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.


Step 5: Finish Cooking

  1. Return pork chops to the skillet.

  2. Spoon sauce over the chops.

  3. Simmer 5–7 minutes until pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

  4. Garnish with fresh parsley.
