For the Béchamel Sauce

3 cups (720ml) warm whole milk

For Assembly

9–12 lasagna noodles (cooked or oven-ready)

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Step 1: Make the Meat Sauce

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, oregano, basil, salt, pepper, and chili flakes.

Step 2: Prepare the Béchamel Sauce

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.

Whisk in flour and cook for 1–2 minutes (do not brown).

Step 3: Assemble the Lasagna
