Sticky Honey Garlic Chicken Bites

Ingredients (Serves 2β3)
For the chicken:
- 500 g boneless chicken thighs (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- Salt and black pepper
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- Oil for frying
For the sauce:
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar or lemon juice
- 1/4 cup water
Optional garnish:
- Chopped parsley or green onions
- Sesame seeds
Instructions

1. Prepare the chicken
- Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper
- Coat evenly with cornstarch
2. Fry the chicken
- Heat oil to 175Β°C (350Β°F)
- Fry chicken in batches for 4β5 minutes until golden and crispy
- Remove and drain on paper towels

3. Make the sauce
- In a pan over medium heat, add garlic and sautΓ© briefly
- Add honey, soy sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, and water
- Simmer for 2β3 minutes until slightly thickened
4. Toss and coat
- Add fried chicken into the sauce
- Toss until evenly coated and glossy
5. Serve
- Transfer to a plate
- Drizzle extra sauce on top
- Garnish with herbs or sesame seeds
Serve immediately while hot and crispy
