1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup cornstarch

1 egg

Oil for frying
For the Spicy Sauce

3 tablespoons mayonnaise
-
1 tablespoon ketchup
-
1 teaspoon sriracha (adjust to taste)

1 teaspoon lemon juice
-
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
For Assembly
-
2 burger buns (brioche preferred)

Lettuce leaves
-
Tomato slices
-
Fresh herbs (parsley or cilantro)

Step 1: Season the Shrimp
Pat shrimp dry.
Season with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and chili flakes.
Step 2: Prepare the Coating
Set up a dredging station:

Bowl 1: flour + cornstarch

Bowl 2: beaten egg
Dip shrimp into egg → then coat in flour mixture.
Press lightly for a crisp texture.
Step 3: Fry the Shrimp
Heat oil to 170–180°C (340–355°F).
Fry shrimp for 2–3 minutes until golden and crispy.
Remove and drain on paper towels.
Step 4: Make the Sauce
Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, sriracha, lemon juice, and garlic powder until smooth.
Step 5: Assemble the Burger

Spread sauce on bottom bun

Add lettuce and tomato

Place crispy shrimp on top

Add herbs and cover with top bun
