Cherry Filling

1½ cups (225 g) fresh or frozen cherries, pitted

¼ cup (50 g) granulated sugar

1 tbsp lemon juice

2 tsp cornstarch

2 tbsp water
Chocolate Ganache Frosting

1 cup (170 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips

½ cup (120 ml) heavy cream

1 tbsp butter
Topping
-
½ cup chocolate cookie crumbs or chocolate cake crumbs

Mini chocolate chips (optional)

Fresh strawberries or cherries for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Cherry Filling

Combine cherries, sugar, and lemon juice in a saucepan.

Simmer over medium heat for 6–8 minutes.

Mix cornstarch with water and stir into the cherries.

Cook until thick and glossy.

Cool completely.
Step 2: Bake the Muffins
