"HELP! POLICE! ASSAULT!" Karen bellowed at the top of her lungs, squeezing out dramatic, breathless wails. "THIS CRAZED USHER ATTACKED ME! HE THREW A SCALDING VAT OF CHEESE DIRECTLY INTO MY FACE AND SHOVED ME DOWN THE CONCRETE STAIRS! HE BROKE MY BACK! CALL AN AMBULANCE AND ARREST THIS MONSTER!"

Marcus stood at the top of the steps, his clipboard still held firmly in his hands, staring down in absolute, speech-deprived shock at the unhinged, self-inflicted drama unfolding beneath him.

Karen continued to writhe on the concrete walkway, clutching her knee and screaming toward the sky. "Where is the stadium director?! Call the police! This abusive usher broke my back! I'm suing this school into oblivion!"

A tall, broad-shouldered man in a simple stadium jacket sitting directly behind Row A1 slowly stood up. He didn't pull out a smartphone or record a video. Instead, he reached into his breast pocket and produced a heavy, silver law enforcement badge.

"You can cut the theatrics right now, ma'am," the man said, his deep, commanding voice instantly silencing the surrounding bleachers. "I'm Police Chief Vance from the City Precinct, and I've been sitting three feet away from you for the last twenty minutes."

Karen’s theatrical wails choked dead in her throat. She stared at the gleaming badge, her eyes widening in pure terror.

"C-Chief?" Karen stammered, scrambling backward on her hands and knees. "Chief, you saw it! He shoved me! He threw that hot cheese at my face!"

"I watched every single second of your childish temper tantrum," Chief Vance stated coldly. "I saw you kick the concession cart, scoop cheese onto your own face, and intentionally throw yourself backward down two steps. Furthermore, every single veteran and parent in these three rows saw you do it."

At that moment, the Stadium Event Director rushed down the walkway alongside two uniformed officers. The director glanced at the crime scene and shook his head. "From a physical standpoint, Marcus was standing at the top of the walkway holding his clipboard with both hands. The splatter pattern proves the cheese was kicked from floor level. Your lie doesn't hold an ounce of water."

Every thread of Karen’s fabricated story disintegrated instantly. Realizing she was caught dead in a felony lie in front of the Police Chief, stadium officials, and dozens of eyewitnesses, her victim act vanished in a flash of sheer panic.

Forgetting all about her supposed "broken back," Karen scrambled off the ground and bolted down the aisle toward the field exit to escape arrest.

However, in her wild, frantic rush to flee on her high heels, her foot landed squarely in the center of the thick, oily melted nacho cheese pooling down the concrete stairs.

SLIP... CRASH!

Both of Karen's legs shot out from under her like a cartoon character on a banana peel. She went airborne for a terrifying second, tumbling head-over-heels down the lower walkway ramp, crashing right over the field barrier, and plunging headfirst into the football team's massive, 100-gallon sideline ice-water bath.

PLUNGING SPLASH!

Karen sank straight into the frigid ice water. When she frantically sputtered back up to the surface, gasping for air, the extreme cold water reacted instantly with the thick, hot melted nacho cheese slathered across her body.

The melted cheese congealed instantly, hardening into a solid, greasy, rock-hard yellow crust that sealed her styled hair to her head, plastered her face in a rigid mask, and coated her ruined fur coat in a thick, waxy orange shell.

The entire stadium of five thousand fans erupted into deafening cheers, roaring laughter, and thunderous applause.

Chief Vance and the officers stepped over to the ice tub, reaching down to pull the shivering, crusty, cheese-shelled Karen out of the water. Steel handcuffs immediately clicked around her sticky, hardened wrists.

"You are under arrest for felony property destruction, filing a false police report, and disorderly conduct," Chief Vance informed her as she stood there weeping real, freezing tears.

On top of her criminal charges, Karen was hit with a $1,500 bill to replace the destroyed concession equipment, sound cables, and clean the bleachers. Meanwhile, the Stadium Director personally escorted the military veteran and his son up to the private Athletic Director's executive suite to watch the rest of the game in luxury, while publicly presenting Marcus with a stadium commendation and a $300 gift card for his stellar composure and integrity under pressure.
