On a bustling Sunday afternoon, the upscale Metro Fresh Supermarket was packed with shoppers getting their weekly groceries. Over at the gourmet meat counter, 21-year-old college student Leo was meticulously wrapping the final tray of pre-marinated Wagyu ribeye steaks for a sweet 70-year-old woman holding paper Ticket #42.

Suddenly, a woman named Karen shoved her way past five waiting customers, barging right up to the front of the queue. She wore designer activewear, oversized sunglasses perched atop her styled hair, and pushed an empty shopping cart. Without a second thought, she slammed her hand down onto the glass display case.

"Hey, kid! Give me that tray of Wagyu right now!" Karen demanded, her shrill voice easily cutting through the store’s ambient background music. "I'm hosting a last-minute dinner party and I don't have time to wait around!"

Leo kept his tone polite and professional. "Good afternoon, ma'am. Unfortunately, this is the last pre-marinated Wagyu tray of the day, and it belongs to this customer who is holding Ticket #42. If you'd like, I can cut you a fresh section from the main block right over there."

Karen stared at Leo, her face contorting into pure, indignant rage.

"Are you seriously telling me to wait?!" Karen sneered, glaring down her nose at the elderly customer beside her. "This old woman probably doesn't even know how to appreciate high-grade Wagyu! I am a Diamond VIP loyalty member here, and I spend hundreds of dollars in this store every single week! Hand over that tray, and knock fifty percent off the price for making me deal with your pathetic attitude!"

The elderly woman spoke up softly. "Excuse me, dear, but I've been standing in line with my ticket for over fifteen minutes..."

"Keep your mouth shut, old hag!" Karen barked, spinning around to glare at her. "Nobody was talking to you! Go find something else to chew on!"

Leo immediately stepped in front of the glass partition, placing himself firmly between Karen and the elderly woman. His voice turned cold and unyielding.

"Ma'am, that is completely out of line," Leo stated. "We operate strictly by ticket numbers here. I will not hand over another customer's order, and I must ask you to speak respectfully to the people around you."

Realizing her VIP entitlement and aggressive bullying weren't going to get her the Wagyu beef, Karen’s face contorted into a mask of unhinged fury.

"You lowly little butcher boy! How dare you teach me a lesson in front of these people?!" Karen shrieked, her voice echoing across the entire grocery department.

In a blind, vindictive rage, Karen turned toward the end-cap display next to the counter: a towering, five-tier glass pyramid of imported organic Italian marinara sauce, priced at $25 a bottle. With a violent, sweeping motion of her arm, she swiped directly into the middle of the stack.

CRASH... SHATTER!

Nearly twenty glass bottles plunged off the shelf, smashing hard onto the tiled floor. Thick, dark red tomato sauce exploded in every direction, splattering across the floor, pooling in viscous red waves, and mixing with dozens of razor-sharp glass shards.

The loud destruction echoed through the store, bringing dozens of shoppers to a dead halt. But as the glass stopped rolling, Karen suddenly snapped out of her rage and looked down at the $500 destruction she had just caused in full view of a crowded supermarket.

Panic flashed across her eyes. Realizing she had committed blatant property destruction, her aggressive demeanor instantly dissolved, morphing into a calculated, desperate performance.

Reaching down toward the floor, Karen scooped up a large handful of the thick red marinara and smeared it across her white tracksuit top, neck, and arms to make it look like blood and trauma. Then, stepping forward, she forcefully slammed her own knee straight into the sharp, steel-reinforced corner of the lower meat counter frame.

THUD!

Letting out a bone-chilling, theatrical scream, Karen threw herself backward, flopping heavily onto the tile floor right beside the shattered glass and red sauce.

"HELP! POLICE! ASSAULT!" Karen bellowed at the top of her lungs, squeezing out breathless, dramatic wails that vibrated off the supermarket walls. "THIS CRAZED EMPLOYEES ATTACKED ME! I JUST GAVE HIM CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK AND HE THREW ENTIRE GLASS BOTTLES AT MY CHEST! HE SHOVED ME AND BROKE MY LEG! CALL AN AMBULANCE AND ARREST THIS CRIMINAL!"
