Ingredients

For the Salmon

  • 1½ lbs (680 g) salmon fillet, skin removed

  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup (100 g) shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 2 jalapeños, thinly sliced

  • 4 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled

  • 2 green onions, finely chopped

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Garnish

  • Chopped green onions

  • Fresh parsley

Instructions

Step 1 – Prepare the Salmon

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Place salmon fillet on a cutting board.

  3. Butterfly carefully if needed to create an even thickness.

  4. Season with:

    • Garlic powder

    • Paprika

    • Salt

    • Black pepper

Step 2 – Make the Filling

  1. In a bowl combine:

    • Cream cheese

    • Mozzarella cheese

    • Jalapeño slices

    • Bacon crumbles

    • Green onions

    • Garlic

    • Parsley

  2. Mix until fully combined.

Step 3 – Roll the Salmon

  1. Spread filling evenly over the salmon.

  2. Roll tightly from the long side.

  3. Secure with toothpicks if needed.

  4. Slice into 1½-inch thick pinwheels.

Step 4 – Bake

  1. Arrange pinwheels in a lightly greased baking dish.

  2. Brush tops lightly with olive oil.

  3. Bake for 18–20 minutes until salmon is cooked through.

  4. Broil for the final 2 minutes to lightly brown the cheese.

Step 5 – Serve

  1. Garnish with green onions and parsley.

  2. Serve hot.

  2. Place pinwheels in a single layer.

  3. Cook for 10–12 minutes.

  4. Check for an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
