π Ingredients
For the Salmon
- 2 large salmon fillets (skin-on or off)
- Salt & black pepper (to taste)
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp olive oil
For the Creamy Spinach Filling
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 cups fresh spinach (chopped)
- Β½ cup cream cheese (softened)
- ΒΌ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ΒΌ cup heavy cream
- Salt & pepper to taste
For the Shrimp Topping
- 200g (7 oz) shrimp (peeled & deveined)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- Β½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
- Salt & pepper
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Fresh parsley (chopped)
For the Sauce
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ΒΌ cup chicken broth
- Β½ cup grated Parmesan
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional but π₯)
- Salt & pepper
- Fresh parsley
πͺ Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Salmon
- Slice each salmon fillet horizontally to create a pocket (donβt cut all the way through).
- Season both sides with:
- Salt
- Pepper
- Paprika
- Garlic powder
Step 2: Make the Creamy Filling
- Heat butter in a pan over medium heat.
- Add garlic β sautΓ© ~30 seconds.
- Add spinach β cook until wilted.
- Lower heat, then mix in:
- Cream cheese
- Parmesan
- Heavy cream
- Stir until smooth and creamy.
- Season with salt & pepper.
π Let it cool slightly before stuffing.
Step 3: Stuff the Salmon
- Spoon the creamy spinach mixture into the salmon pocket.
- Press gently so it stays inside (donβt overfill).
Step 4: Cook the Salmon
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Sear salmon:
- 4β5 minutes on one side (golden crust)
- Flip carefully β cook another 4β5 minutes
- Remove and set aside.
Step 5: Cook the Shrimp
- In the same pan, melt butter.
- Add garlic β sautΓ© quickly.
- Add shrimp:
- Cook 2β3 minutes per side (until pink)
- Add:
- Lemon juice
- Chili flakes
- Salt & pepper
- Toss with parsley β set aside.
Step 6: Make the Cream Sauce
- In the same pan:
- Add butter β melt
- Pour in heavy cream + chicken broth
- Simmer gently.
- Add Parmesan + Dijon mustard.
- Stir until smooth and slightly thickened.
- Season with salt, pepper, parsley.
Step 7: Assemble
- Place salmon on a plate.
- Pour creamy sauce over it.
- Top with garlic butter shrimp.
- Sprinkle fresh parsley.
